Emmanuel Youth Group is the youth section of Emmanuel Church. We hold the same vision and values as the whole Church. We exist to know Jesus and to make Him better known.
All our leaders are DBS-checked and trained in safeguarding. Each term follows its own pattern, so if you want to confirm what groups are when, do get in touch with our Youth Pastor Sarah at youth@emmanuelchurch.co.uk.
Youth Club
Thursday evening – term time.
Youth Club has been running at Emmanuel Church for over 20 years. We offer a safe space to all young people from the local area to come and hang out with each other amongst our wonderful team of volunteers. Youth Club is a space to build healthy relationships and explore faith together.
This term we will be running two sessions:

Session 2: School years 8 & 9, 8-9:30pm. We currently have NO MORE SPACE at this session, and kindly ask you not to turn up on the night. Please check back after half term.
The cost to attend is £1. A tuck shop is available with everything costing 50p each.

Rooted - Sunday Mornings
Every Sunday morning during the 10.30am service.
Rooted is our discipleship group for school years 6-9. We meet every week to support each other and explore faith. We worship, read the Bible, share stories of faith, and pray for one another. We welcome everyone who wants to explore faith for themselves.
Group members and newcomers are invited to start in the 10.30am service and then follow the crowd out to our room upstairs.
Forged - Sunday Evenings
Every Sunday evening 4:30-6pm
Forged is our discipleship group for school years 10-13. We meet every week to deepen our faith as a community. It is important to us that we can be honest and real at Forged about the joys and challenges of life and faith, and we welcome everyone who wants to explore who Jesus is. The older members of Forged often lead different parts of the session so we hear from a range of voices.
The Youth Gathering
1st Sunday of every month, 6-7pm
Once a month Emmanuel Youth take over the evening service. This is an opportunity to explore our gifts, hear our different voices and serve our church family. Emmanuel Youth get involved in every aspect of the service.
If you have ever wondered what it would look like if teenagers ran the church, come along and find out!
Welcome and refreshments are served from 5.45pm, service starts at 6:00pm.
