Women and Men’s Events

We would love to welcome you to get involved in the community of women here at Emmanuel.  Whatever your age or life stage and wherever you are in your faith journey, there’s a place for you.

Our vision is to encounter God and grow in our faith alongside other women who can encourage us on our way.

We have regular events throughout the year, including women’s breakfasts, a summer cream tea, and a Christmas craft evening to invite friends to.

All women warmly invited to join us for breakfast, worship, Bible teaching, real conversation and prayer – what better way to start your weekend? Whatever your age and wherever you are in your faith, this will be a great morning. Saturday 21st March, 9.30-11am. 

Cost: £3 on the day. Bring cash!

Life can be a lot- work, family, relationships, expectations- no one should have to navigate it alone. That’s why we’re focused on creating space for real conversations, real support, and real community. Whether you’re a student, young adult, dad, senior, or just figuring things out, you’re welcome at Emmanuel.

We have regular events throughout the year such as fish & chip nights, curry nights, and golf days. These are great times to meet up, talk life, work, or whatever’s on your mind, and hear someone chat through their story.

Men’s Friday prayer mornings- Join us for an hour of prayer most Friday mornings at 6am in the church café.

Back by popular demand, the next men’s curry night will be on Monday 16th March, 7.30pm at the Shahin, Woodbridge Hill. £11.50 by cash or card on the night. Our next men’s breakfast is on Saturday 13th June, 8.30am in the old church at Emmanuel. We’ll enjoy a great breakfast together, and hear from our guest speaker George Watkinson- ‘A Diamond Geezer turned Kingdom Seeker’! No cost but donations are welcome. The men’s ministry are organising their annual trip to the Renew, Refresh, Resource retreat at Lee Abbey Devon, from 22nd – 24th May 2026.
