Paul & Phil

Paul and Phil Wisdom

Paul & Phil Wisdom are working for the UK team of World Horizons in Llanelli, Wales.  The UK team is primarily for recruiting, training, sending and supporting people to go and join overseas teams.  Overseas, World Horizons works in parts of the world where there are no churches, or very few Christians. Broadly speaking these are the nations of the ‘10-40 Window’ – in other words Southern Europe, North and West Africa, The Middle East, Northern India, Central Asia and South East Asia.

Paul is involved in using Outdoor Pursuits for leadership and Team Development Training.  He is also involved in establishing leadership training businesses in Egypt and Kazakhstan.
Phil works on the World Horizons Gap Year Team that offers an intensive period of preparation in mission, team and faith, followed by a six-month placement working alongside existing teams in communities around the world.

They have three daughters, Bethany, Jessica and Hannah who love having visitors to come and stay, so why not think about coming to visit!

About Horizons . . .

World Horizons exists on behalf of places and people not yet prayed for, churches not yet planted and cross-cultural workers not yet sent.  We are a prayer based, pioneering, prophetic, pastoral mission movement.

World Horizons (UK) was started in the 1970s using outdoor pursuits to work with local youth in Llanelli, Wales. Since then it has developed into a multi-national Christian charity of more than 300 workers living and working in over 40 different nations.
