Andrew and Miriam Wingfield

Andrew and Miriam Wingfield are in-country representatives in Tanzania. Serving with Emmanuel International UK

They have now been working for 11 years in Tanzania in the Diocese of Ruaha, based in the town of Iringa. Their work involves projects that meet the basic needs of the community they are working in. These projects use simple technology that is easy to replicate and builds the self reliance of those involved. This has included water harvesting projects and they are currently working on a project called ‘WaSH’ which is a water, sanitation and hygiene project for primary schools in neighbouring villages
Here’s a short video about WASH

Andrew grew up at Emmanuel and he and Miriam met at school in Guildford
Since arriving in Tanzania, Andrew and Miriam have welcomed two sons, Benjamin born in 2007 and Samuel at the end of 2008. Daughter Bethany was born in October 2011

As a church we support them through prayer and financial giving
