Sunday Services
8am Holy Communion
A quieter service for those who like to start the day with Communion. We use the modern form of service and have a short sermon.
10.30am
This is the service which draws together the wide spectrum of our congregation from aged 0 -100. The children normally stay in the service for the first part and then go out to their groups for worship, crafts, games and teaching. The 1st Sunday of the month is Holy Communion. We also have All Age Parade Services regularly throughout the year and on major festivals. Worship at our morning service has mixed elements of contemporary and traditional. The sermon has an important part in the service. Many stay for coffee after the service and our Prayer Team is available.
6.30pm
The evening service has an innovative and contemporary feel and the music is led by a regular band. Each Sunday up to Christmas 2011 will be Café Style Church – an informal layout with coffee tables and chairs. The 3rd Sunday evening of the month is our Healing Communion Service, still within the cafe style, at which we offer prayer for healing with the laying on of hands. Good teaching and preaching plays an important role in our evening services. Coffee and cakes are enjoyed in the church before and during the service.
All the words for our main services appear on the large screens at the front of church. We hope that all of our services are easy to follow even if you are completely new to church.
