Emmanuel is a well-established evangelical CofE church with around 300 attending on Sundays.
The church seeks ‘To know Christ better and make him better known’.
Twenty five years ago the church was greatly enlarged to provide an attractive, modern worship centre.
A Parish Community Centre with café, sports hall, Fairtrade Shop, Church Pre-school, with additional rooms for church and community use was completed in 2004.
On any day of the week the place is buzzing with the facilities used to the full,
living out Emmanuel’s vision to be –
‘a church without walls to the community’
