Following 2014’s successful trip to Tanzania, a new group is getting ready in spring 2017 for another water project working party expedition.
Team Tanzania returned after what can only be described as a thought provoking but very hard working trip. Eleven guys stuck together, pulled together, looked out for each other and did amazing work for Ihomasa village. Fencing posts all in the ground around the spring water source; walls rising rapidly on the new brick built church and children in school who loved bubbles and paper aeroplanes. They also listened attentively to the illustrated Bible stories. Football matches happened but I just can’t quite remember the results!! The whole thing topped off by our special day off when we had a game drive in Ruaha national park and saw more animals than I can list here. However the health care arrangements were somewhat distressing. I wonder what/how we can do something about that? Prayers please.
Big thank you to all people at Emmanuel who so faithfully supported the team.
